Located at 1110 First Avenue @ Symonds Street, Aggie Hall has been an integral part of the Ladysmith Community since is was built in 1922, hosting dances, concerts and sporting events. The funds to construct the hall were raised by private clubs and organizations through subscription and sale of shares, a common practice at the time. A large, inviting space with a renovated profession kitchen, the hall can easily hold and cater for large gatherings; it is home to the Ladysmith Cadets as well as LAFF (Ladysmith Family and Friends), which organizes activities for toddlers and their parents on weekday mornings throughout the fall and winter. Amenities on the property include a sports field, playground, washrooms and stands.
